Bleed Pockets
 Artpark, Lewiston, NY.
1975

Building upon the destroyed “Black Ovals”. I used the element that destroyed the first project to complete “Bleed Pockets”. The timber supports were extended to twenty-four 20’ poles. The canvas pockets were filled with red earth. When it rained again it caused the earth to bleed, coloring the pockets, completing the work. Canvas, red earth, hay.
